At the start of their collaboration in 2006, Cary, Alicia, Kelly and Sara would discuss concept ideas. The Casillio’s would create sketches by essentially making themselves into paper dolls. They photographed themselves in undergarments and sketched on top to create the costumes and backgrounds. These ideas never made it into photograph form.
