Paint by Number came from a performance we did at art schools and at art events around Boston. Like many of the works in the series, adapting Paint by Number from a three dimensional, live street performance meant going back to the concept and focusing on what details would help re-visualize it as a still, two dimensional image. It plays with the irony of us being identical artists and how we as artists, often try to stand out, sometimes further conforming.  –Alicia
